Six bodybuilders flexing in a lineup on stage

Bodybuilding shows

Bodybuilding shows.

Backstage, on stage, and the minute the pump is right.

For promoters, federations, gyms, and the athletes who step on stage.

A show day is long, and the moments that matter are short. Months of prep come down to a few minutes under the lights, and everything worth remembering happens backstage on either side of it. We cover both.

What we make

  • Backstage photography
  • Stage and lineup coverage
  • Athlete portraits between classes
  • A recap film and vertical cuts for social
  • Sponsor and vendor content
  • Post-show sessions for athletes

Backstage

Where the show actually happens.

Bands snapping, numbers going on, friends checking each other's lines one last time. We shot backstage at an NPC show in Indiana and stayed out of the way while we did it.

Portraits

A few minutes of good light.

Between classes there's time for one good portrait. An athlete keeps that photo for years, so we light it like it matters. For more than a few minutes, book a post-show session and we'll shoot you while you're still at your peak.

After the callout

Medals, and the people who got you there.

The last part of the day is the part people share. Coaches, teammates, and the photo with the medal still on.

Fitness expo

Stage, floor, and strongman.

We've also covered a two-day fitness expo: bodybuilders on stage, strongman on the floor, and the athletes between rounds.

How show coverage works

From the call to the gallery.

  1. 01

    Talk before the show

Who's competing, how many classes, where backstage is, and what the promoter or athlete needs afterward: a gallery, a recap, sponsor content, or all of it.

  2. 02

    Scope in writing

Coverage hours, deliverables, and delivery date, written down before show day.

  3. 03

    Shoot the whole day

Check-in, pump-up, the stage, and the callouts. Backstage is shot quietly, with the athletes' prep coming first.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Edited galleries and cuts, usually within 14 days.

FAQ

Questions from promoters and athletes

Do you cover full bodybuilding shows?

Yes. Backstage, stage, and lineup photography, plus a recap film and vertical cuts if the show wants them. Every job is scoped in writing first.

Can I book photos for myself as a competitor?

It depends on the promoter and the show. Reach out before the show and we'll work with you and the promoter to sort out what's allowed. We also recommend a post-show session, so we can photograph you while you're still at your peak.

What is a post-show session?

A shoot of your own after the show, while you're still in stage condition. No callouts and no crowded backstage, just time and good light to get the photos you dieted for.

Do you shoot fitness expos and other competitions?

We have. A two-day fitness expo with bodybuilding on stage and strongman on the floor is on our events page.

Where do you travel for shows?

We are based in Evansville and shoot across Indiana and Kentucky. See the service area.
