Questions we get
FAQ
How projects work, what you get, and how to book.
Working with us
How do we get started?
Send us a message through the contact page. We'll set up a free discovery call to talk through your goals, timeline, and budget.
How long until we get our final video?
Usually within 14 days of the shoot. Bigger projects get their own dates, and we put delivery dates in the contract before we shoot, so you know exactly when to expect it.
Can you shoot for us every month?
Yes. Social content is built for recurring monthly shoots.
Do you shoot the content, or do we?
We do. You run your business. We show up, shoot it, and handle the edit.
Where do you work?
Based in Evansville. We shoot across the tri-state and travel for the right project, as far as Mexico. See the service area.
Do you have a studio?
We shoot most work on location, in the rooms you already work in. Product photography can be shot in our product studio.
How is pricing set?
Every project is scoped on the discovery call. You get deliverables, dates, and price in writing before anything is shot. Long-form work is scoped and billed hourly.
Websites
Do you build websites?
Yes. Custom sites and Shopify stores, filled with work we shoot for them. See Better Human, After Dark 812, and Ohio River Muscle Co.
Do we own our site?
Yes. Your domain, your account, your files. No lock-in.
Can you keep our site updated?
Yes. Month to month. We add new work as it's shot and fix what breaks. Stop anytime and the site stays yours.
Portraits
How do I book a session?
Use the contact form, email markus@offscriptyourlife.com or lucas@offscriptyourlife.com, or message us on social.
When will I get my photos?
Final photos arrive 7 to 10 days after the shoot, unless your contract says otherwise.
Can I order prints or albums?
Yes. Prints and albums are available on request. Ask when you book and we'll take care of it.
Where do we shoot?
Wherever fits you. Campus, downtown, a field at golden hour, or somewhere that means something. We bring the light.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel most like yourself in. Solid colors photograph best, and a second outfit never hurts. We'll talk it through before the shoot.
