Tattooed arms crossed over an armful of Circadia skincare against a pale blue wall

Skincare product photo, Evansville IN

The Aesthetics Social Club

One skincare line, shot four ways.

The Aesthetics Social Club is the licensed esthetician working out of Optimize U Evansville. She needed photos of the Circadia line she uses and sells, and a headshot to go with them.

We shot the products four ways: an armful held close, one jar balanced on a heel, a flat lay on travertine with brushes, and the mist in use over a gold mirror tray. Each one does a different job: a store tile, an ad, a carousel slide, a post.

How we approached it

Skincare that looks like skincare.

Clean light, soft color, real skin. Skincare photos fail when they look like a lab or a render, so every set has a hand, an arm, or a surface you could find in someone's bathroom.

Four sets in one session gave her a photo for every place she posts, without the same jar showing up twice in a row.

What's in the set

Four sets, one session.

The armful: arms crossed over the whole line, close enough to read the labels. The heel: one eye cream balanced on a black heel, the frame that stops a thumb. The flat lay: jars and brushes on travertine, built to be a carousel. The mist: a hand pressing the hydrating mist over a gold mirror tray.

Then a headshot on a soft gray backdrop, so the face behind the products sits right next to them.

Selling a line you didn't make?

Estheticians, salons, and clinics often sell products from other brands, and the brand's own photos are on every other site too. A short session on a few sets gives you photos nobody else has, shot on surfaces that match your room.

Scope and price in writing before anything is shot, then delivery in about 14 days.
